Sorry. I have no idea how to drawn old-timey (or modern) cameras. I didn't have a reference picture to use, so I hope I got this decently. Sure, the photographer looks like he's from the 1800s with that mustache (and maybe the camera), but eh. What type of cameras did they use in the '40s?

you probably want a bellows camera with an attached flash on a thick stick (held batteries). you can find examples by googling "1940's camera" and clicking the image row. camera colors were usually black or brown.

Good to know. I'll try to keep it in mind next time I draw a camera (which could be very easily in this issue, considering the cameraman is still around).
