I hate having to play catch-up, especially when I know I have pages to finish that have already been posted. Anyways, this is the reason for the double-pager.

This explanation of the Cedrick encounter developed from my own botched circumstance last year. DDSR's Cedrick the Burning Lord is very low-key and would not be known by really anybody. However, since he's from another universe, it's more likely Amazona read about somebody similar in some respects. He's not a 1-to-1 doppelganger of DDSR's Cedrick--they just happen to have similar qualities, in name (though in DDSR, Cedrick is not the character's real name and my idea is that mine really is named that), title and being beings of flame.

Anyways, this is a part of the 2014 Halloween Cameo Caper. Heck, it's the first actual cameo of it for me, too (I don't know if Supertrans appearing in Karabear Comics Presents Special counts as a true cameo, as she's my character as well).

Huh, not I should feel about this. Though to be clear, Cedrick is his real name. As a Demon who is called upon to do whatever it is the summoner wishes, it makes more sense to go by some terrible name or one that is hard to pronounce/lack in vowels/loaded with commas, that he must be powerful or evil. When naming him I was going for a less threatening name that could be normal but still unique enough so people are like "Cedrick? That's a silly name for a demon."

Oh, my mistake. I thought Cedrick was the simplified version, as such not the "real" name. Anyways, my idea is that the Cedrick mentioned here is not a doppelganger, but a character that has similarities. Infinite universes spur infinite variety, after all. I did want to create a plausible reason Amazona thought she'd heard of Cedrick, when your character actually isn't that overt.
